Dear readers, I hope I can persuade you to become listeners. I've just launched the Eight Years in Azeroth Podcast, where we spend some time reminiscing about the blog, WoW, video games, leadership, and other vitally important things. Each episode features a special guest that you (if you're a devoted fan of the blog) will recognize as a major player in the story.

So, a serious question Hanzo. They announced WoW Classic, any chance you would go into that World again? Where community matters and it's the PEOPLE you Raid with that drives you to Raid? If you do decide to "dabble" in Classic let us all here know, i personally would be glad to Tank or Heal for your Guild.

ReplyDeleteI still remember being invited to that raid when we downed illidari council was. to this day that event is probably my best WOW memory.
Oh the nostalgia! I had a lot of fun with DoD in vanilla as a rogue in the raids, still have the t1 and t2 (minus the shoulders ;_;, might have to farm that one of these days solo ;) sets. I had forgotten a lot of the various details. I really appreciate you guys recording your thoughts, thanks! I agree with Dalans that the game went south (initially, at least concerning raiding) when they made guilds divide their raid teams... Oh well, its evolved since then and I have accepted it it with all it's faults. It's still beautiful though!
